Thanks to hurricane Irene I'll now be flying out on Monday instead of Sunday, so I get a whole extra day to put off packing. Actually my flight being delayed is a good thing, since I'm not supposed to meet up with the group from Academic Programs International (the group I'm with) until August 30th anyway. So now instead of getting to Ireland on the 29th and having to figure out transportation and find a place to sleep, I get to just meet up with the API people who already have that stuff figured out. That's what I was supposed to do in the first place but I read the date wrong and booked my flight a day early. Luckily, because of the hurricane, Continental is letting people change their flights for free. Thanks for covering for me Irene, I owe you one.
